Immersed in beautiful settings, my passion lies in capturing the raw emotion and essence of pivotal moments during weddings. As a photographer, my goal is to seize the beauty of simple yet profound scenes: the bride’s father shedding joyful tears, the play of light on the bride’s dress and the tender glances exchanged between newlyweds.
Getting started
I love being involved before your wedding day and it”s really exciting for me to receive photos of your dress, shoes, invites etc…! Because a wedding is such a personal event, I encourage all prospective couples to meet me for a consultation at the wedding venues prior to the big day. We will discuss your ideas as well as your running order to establish locations, timeframes, and a wet weather schedule. It is important to me that I use this time to get to know you as a couple and understand your needs so I can adapt my style of photography to ensure that your expectations are met.
On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. I focus on capturing the spontaneity and spirit of the day. I also capture the finer details of the wedding journey, including the wedding gown, flowers, ceremony and reception styling. These elements pieced together create your total personalised wedding story.
Booking details
Reservations typically fill up 9 to 12 months in advance. To secure your date, a $300 deposit is required. Prices are subject to change; however, once booked, your price is locked in.
How it works
Pre-Wedding Process:
- Submit an inquiry and receive a ‘Booking Form’ outlining available packages.
- Complete the ‘Booking Form’ and select your desired package.
- Pay a $300 deposit, with the remainder due one week before the wedding.
- Upon returning the signed booking form and deposit, your date is secured.
- Schedule a consultation 1 to 3 months before the wedding to discuss details and finalise the timeline. This meeting is held preferably at the wedding location.
On Your Special Day:
- Relax and enjoy while I capture every precious moment. It’s my key responsibility as the photographer to motivate you to get the best possible imagery while ensuring you are comfortable at all times. I am always ready to do what it takes to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Post-Wedding Process:
- Receive a selection of preview shots the following day.
- Within maximum 6 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story), the entire collection of high-resolution digital images are optimally processed and supplied to you as a record of your wedding story. You can access all files in a private online gallery for ordering prints or downloading digital files. You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints! These images are fully processed, watermark-free, and licensed to you, while copyright remains with Captured by Katherine.Â
