Getting started

Because a wedding is such a personal event, I encourage all prospective couples to meet me for an informal chat prior to any potential booking. We will discuss your ideas as well as your running order to establish locations, timeframes, and a wet weather schedule. It is important to me that I use this time to get to know you as a couple and understand your needs so I can adapt my style of photography to ensure that your expectations are met. I listen and take my visual cue from you to ensure your images reflect your ideas.

On the day

On the day, it’s my key responsibility as the photographer to motivate you to get the best possible imagery while ensuring you are comfortable at all times. I am always ready to do what it takes to make sure everything runs smoothly.

My approach

My individual style is very candid in nature. With a heightened awareness of the sensitivities and emotions surrounding such a special occasion I am able to capture the emotion, spontaneity and spirit of the day without any intrusions. I focus on the finer details of the wedding journey including the wedding gown, flowers, ceremony and reception styling. These elements pieced together create your total personalised wedding story.

Your images

I believe in quality. I only photograph using the RAW format which contains a far greater range of tonal information compared to the standard Jpeg. Throughout your wedding day I will take an unlimited number of photographs. These image files are then optimally processed and will be supplied to you on DVD so that you own the entire collection. This high resolution DVD is the record of your wedding day memories and effectively forms your digital negatives.
